New President Sherry Wilson Heads Strong Team Focused on Driving EDI Adoption
DALLAS, TX (September 15, 2014) – The Cooperative Exchange, the national association representing organizations in the healthcare information technology and transaction industry, today announced the election of its new 2014 executive team.
Effective immediately the new Cooperative Exchange officers are President Sherry Wilson of Jopari Solutions, Inc.; Vice President Betty Gomez of ZirMed; Treasurer Kathy Sites of Availity; and Secretary Joseph Bell of ClaimRemedi.
“I look forward to taking the helm of the Cooperative Exchange at such a pivotal time in our history,” says newly-elected President Sherry Wilson. “One of my first initiatives to achieve broader input is to create an Executive Strategic Advisory Board to accelerate and expand the influence that the Cooperative Exchange can bring to related organizations and industry governance bodies.” states Wilson, “One of my key objectives for the organization is to provide our health care delivery system with a greater understanding of the significant value clearinghouses offer. Clearinghouses have extensive capabilities that they can deliver as we work collaboratively to achieve administrative simplification, and the resulting outcome will reduce the burden and healthcare costs for all stakeholders.”
