J.R. “Steve” Stevens

Founder | CEO & Chairman of the Board

Mr. Stevens has built a reputation as an excellent market executor, building alliances and customer opportunities with limited resources. He has over 35 years of experience in sales and marketing, and is also adept at obtaining capital for new ventures such as eStellarNet and Jopari Solutions.

Mr. Stevens is responsible for enabling flawless execution across the company and building capabilities for Jopari’s future growth. He helps to enable Jopari’s vision, strategy, and innovation by managing prioritization, decision ownership, effective resource alignment and accountability across the company.

As a leader and motivator with in-depth knowledge of management team building, Mr. Stevens has demonstrated his success in creating and incubating new firms. Most noteworthy are his experiences in fundraising with eStellarNet, where he successfully served as Chief Fund Raiser and raised over $44 million dollars for the company. He also served as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer until the firm was acquired by the Hartford Insurance Group. In other ventures his clients have included: Disney; Viacom; Kawasaki Motors Corp.; Garth Brooks; and Ethel M Chocolates (M&M’s).

Nancy Larget

Chief Financial Officer | Board Member

Ms. Larget is a seasoned finance executive with particular expertise in assessing and completing acquisitions, raising capital, creating financial control environments, and developing sound financial planning and analysis. She has a strong interest in solving the challenges of scaling high growth organizations.

Ms. Larget has accumulated her financial expertise in a broad range of roles. At Charles Schwab and Co., she was Senior Vice President of Global Expansion and Integration where she defined and executed Schwab’s expansion into international markets. She served as CFO for Charles Schwab Europe during its launch of on-line trading. She also was employee number 16 and CFO of Schwab’s high growth 401(k) business. At Citicorp, she was a corporate banker, where she developed funding and cash management strategies for a broad range of clients. She received her CPA while working in Deloitte Touche’s audit practice. She has a BS in Business Administration from UC Berkeley and an MBA in General Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

John Gilmartin

Chief Operations Officer

Mr. Gilmartin is a seasoned executive with expertise in efficiently driving corporate growth through all major areas of product and operational functions.

Prior to joining Jopari, Mr.Gilmartin was Sr. Vice President of Service Operations for Mitchell International and Board Member of GT Motive, a European based software company.  During his tenure at Mitchell, John was also responsible for leading Mitchell’s Global Expansion efforts into Europe and prior to that led Product, Marketing, Implementation, and Operations for Mitchell’s Casualty Division.  Mr. Gilmartin also worked for several P&C Insurance carriers during his professional career and has a B.S. in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton and a M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.

Tom Turi

Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

Tom Turi is the newest addition to the Jopari Executive Leadership team as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.  Previously associated with such brands as The SSI Group, Comdata, Change Healthcare (Emdeon), Payspan, and IBM, Tom will be providing sales leadership to Jopari’s fast growing healthcare technology business.  Most recently Tom was the Chief Payer Officer at The SSI Group, where he helped grow their Payer business profitably over a five-year period. With over 25 years’ experience advancing administrative simplification, Tom is a nationally recognized speaker and authority in Financial Services and Healthcare.

Patrick Stack

Chief Information Officer

Patrick Stack is the chief architect and technical visionary for Jopari Total Transaction Gateway. He is instrumental in guiding Jopari’s product strategy and interfacing with prospective clients, customers and business partners. Mr. Stack adds not only experience in software technology, but also extensive knowledge in working with and developing solutions for the provider side of the healthcare industry.

With over 30 years of software development experience, Mr. Stack’s career includes senior management positions as Chief Technology Officer at Altary LLC, VP of Advanced Technologies at New Era of Networks, Inc. and VP of Research and Development at Century Analysis, Inc. (CAI). In these positions, Mr. Stack architected and developed products ranging from a mainframe database to a rules based event processing system. At CAI he was chief architect for the company’s application integration products including the Transaction Distribution Management (TDM) product (currently sold as Impact! by Sybase). Prior to Century Analysis he was with NCR as a senior systems analyst where he developed applications for a wide range of customers including Varian Vacuum Division, California Mutual Insurance Group, Merced Medical Clinic and Applied Materials Inc.

Mr. Stack currently serves on the State of Texas and California’s Electronic Bill and Payment Task forces which are responsible for defining the Workers’ Compensation business rules and ANSI X12 transaction sets for electronic bill and payment transactions. Mr. Stack has served as the ANSI X12 expert in assisting California and Texas in developing a proposed National EBill and Payment ANSI Implementation Guide. Also Mr. Stack serves on the IAIABC Medical Subcommittee for E-Bill and Payment Processing.

Don St. Jacques

SVP Business Development & Client Services

Don is responsible for the day to day activities of Jopari Solutions – implementation, operations, and delivery of the Jopari suite of products, supporting both provider and payer clients, including the Emdeon relationship. He joined Jopari in April, 2007, after a number of years in establishing Workers Compensation eBilling. He has over 30 years of wide ranging experience in Claims, Risk Management and Loss Control, including designing/implementing claims systems, as well as claims management and medical cost containment programs.

Don has also been one of the industry champions of Property and Casualty eBilling, beginning in 2000 while working with The Hartford. He is daily immersed with the provider community, various state regulators, as well as providing input to national organizations like IAIABC to foster expanded and expedited adoption of eBilling. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, with a degree in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology.

Sherry Wilson

Executive Vice President | Chief Compliance Officer

Ms. Wilson serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer. She was founder and CEO of Wilson Corporation specializing in Worker’s Compensation financial risk management for national self insured employers.

She also was Co-Founder and on the Board of Directors for eStellarnet, the first B2B, Internet-based hub connectivity system for the property and casualty and disability markets which was sold to Hartford Insurance Company. Ms. Wilson also served as Senior VP of eStellarnet where she was responsible for B2B commerce.

Ms. Wilson implemented the nation’s first Workers’ Compensation health care provider network electronic bill submission and payment connectivity with a large Self Insured employer and Bank of America.

Her B2B client consulting has included national insurance leaders such as Hartford, Travelers, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Cambridge, Royal Sun Alliance, Aetna, California, Texas, Nevada State Funds and Self Insured Employers.

Ms. Wilson has served on the Board of Directors of the Diablo Valley Industrial Claims Association, National Safety and Disability Association as well as the National IAIABC Insurance task force for healthcare electronic data interchange (EDI). She is a sought after educator in the insurance industry for e-commerce.

Jennifer Nereu

Vice President Client Services

Jennifer is responsible for client integrations and onboarding of payer entities as well as submitters; which include individual physician offices, revenue cycle management companies, billing services companies and clearinghouses. Overseeing payment clients and online EFT portal enrollment also falls under Ms. Nereu.

Jennifer joined Jopari in 2007 after spending 6 years with P2P Link implementing and supporting both provider and payer clients.
Jennifer has over 25 years of experience in Property and Casualty specializing in Workers’ Compensation. She has lead key roles with The Hartford Insurance Company as a WC Claims Supervisor and Corporate Trainer. Ms. Nereu began her career in the insurance industry as a WC adjustor for The Travelers.

Angela Johnson

Director of P&C Payments

Angela is responsible for all P&C payment products and implementation of those programs, including addition of Jopari’s virtual card payment solution to the company’s suite of payment product offerings. Prior to joining Jopari in 2008, Ms. Johnson worked as a BA and QA Engineer for several companies.  She has 22 years extensive experience in the Property and Casualty and Group Health Industries. In 2015 she was recognized with the Jopari Leadership Award for her outstanding leadership and commitment to Jopari and our partners.

Coleen Berry

Director of Payer Technologies

Colleen is responsible for supporting and implementing all Payers including Jopari eBill, Jopari Adjustor Portal and assisting in Jopari Attach. She works closely with Account Managers.

Colleen joined Jopari in 2007, having previously worked in the PPO Network management services as a Project/Account Manager; with Property & Casualty claims management and medical billing software as Business Analyst; Project Manager and Account Manager; and eBilling software as an Implementation Manager: and Business Analyst and Customer Care Rep for both Providers and Payer clients.

Colleen has 17 years of experience in the Property and Casualty and Group Health software solutions.  She was the Account Manager for Corporate Systems MedBill client Hartford Insurance. She had a lead role in the implementation and support with one of Corporate Systems largest account, Hartford’s Insurance eBill initiative in 2000.  She started her career as an Implementation Manager in the practice management system Group Health industry.
