We are seeking a motivated team player who is ready to apply their expertise with popular front-end frameworks, as well as dive into a proprietary domain specific language that drives the complex business requirements supporting the healthcare and finance industries. As a Principal Web Architect, you will use your expertise with Java and JavaScript to apply effective design patterns to deliver web application and API product features with both quality and speed.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership in the software development life cycle from objective and requirements analysis, research, and rapid prototyping through testing, release, and maintenance
- Publication of technical solution documentation
- Mentoring of junior developers
- Participation in code and design reviews
- Manage and maintain web application CI/CD pipeline
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare software development
- More than 5 years’ experience leading a development team
- Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (ES6) and frameworks:
- Angular
- Bootstrap
- Express
- Jest
- jQuery
- Nest.js
- Node.js
- React
- Redux
- WebPack
- Expert-level knowledge of HTTP, HTML5, CSS, XML, JSON, YAML
- Expert-level knowledge of web application security
- SAML
- OAuth, OAuth2
- OWASP
- Proficient knowledge of Java and similar object-oriented programming languages
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with Source Code Control systems like Git, Subversion
DESIRED COMPETENCIES
- Experience in the EDI, healthcare, or finance industry
- Familiar with RESTful web service concepts
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and Teams
- Experience with Oracle Database
